Documentation and forms for National Awards

This page provides the documentation and forms for a flotilla to apply for a number of awards at the national level.

Flotilla of the Year

The Flotilla of the year award is given each year by Boat/U.S. It is given to the best flotilla in the Nation and caps a process that evaluates achievements in the areas of membership growth and training, operational support of U.S. Coast Guard missions, vessel safety check activity, public education, and community awareness of the Auxiliary’s role.  One flotilla per year can be nominated from each District, with the recommendation of the District Commodore.  Submit forms through chain of leadership and management by May 31 reflecting information in AUXDATA for the previous calendar year.  The award uses a calculated point system.  Key statistics for the calculations are total membership at the beginning and end of the previous calendar year, and stats on VSC, PE classes, MT classes, Operations missions, and public Affairs missions for the previous year.
